The death of Rupert Alabastor’s father afflicted him immensely. He was so connected to him when he was alive, visiting him practically every weekend to simply spend time with him. Yet deep inside he felt a spiritual comfort from his father. All the morals taught to him fueled his determination to carry on the legacy.

  1. This was actually a fun assignment for one of my college writing courses.

    The assignment entailed that I write a short story that consists of at least one character, a conflict, and a resolution. Additionally, it was limited to 55 words. No more, no less.
